with his team arrived to the Kotelny Island, the Archipelago
of the Novosibirsky Islands with the purpose to organize
the next training session and to look for a place
of the base radio station. At this time Artur Chelingarov
(today Artur Chelingarov is the Vice-Speaker of the
Russian Parliament) became a supporter of the expedition
to the North Pole and managed to grow a beard. And
a radio station began to work at this island only
in five years. Fridtjof Nansen, a great polar explorer,
said: "Patience is the main virtue of a polar
explorer.
