March 20, 2001 – Press-conference
in Moscow, McDonald's restaurant. Report on the main results
of the expedition. Demonstration of archaeological finds.
February 23, 2001 –
Report of Professor V.Strakov at the Scientific Council of
the Archaeological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Demonstration of the restored finds, prepared for long-term
storage. A.Stanyukovich informed about the results of restoration,
Professor V.Zvyagin informed about the results of the plastic
reconstruction and the reasons of death of Vasily and Tatiana
Pronchishchev. The results of the expedition were approved.
The Council took a decision to publish the obtained materials
and recommended to enlarge the group of the polar archaeology
in view of the growing social interest to the history of the
North.
October 30, 2000 – Completed
the restoration of the discovered shoes of Tatiana Pronchishcheva,
the fragment of the bandage, found on the injured leg of Vasily
Pronchishchev and other findings. The restoration works were
carried out under the guidance of A.Stanyukovich, Ph. D. History.
March 7-11, 2000 – Photo
Exhibition in Yakutsk. The Exhibition was opened by M.Nikolaev,
President of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
December 29, 1999 –
A famous Moscow painter Elena Kallistova finished the portraits
of Vasily and Tatiana Pronchishchev. The portraits were created
on the basis of the materials of the plastic reconstruction
of Professor V.Zvyagin.
December 2, 2001 – Premiere
of the film "The Land of Pronchishchev's" (produced by NTV
TV company) at the Central Cinema House. Producer – A. Mikhalev.
Demonstration of the busts of Vasily and Tatiana Pronchishchev's.
November 27, 1999 –
Meeting at the Kaluga Regional Museum with the local public
organizations. Report about the results of the expedition.
Demonstration of the bust of Vasily Pronchishchev. The meeting
was attended by V.Sudarenkov, a Governor of the Kaluga region.
October 30, 1999 – The
Russian Federal Forensic Centre completed the plastic reconstruction
(creation of the busts) of Vasily and Tatiana Pronchishchev.
The authors: V.Zvyagin and M.Berezovski.
September 27, 1999 –
Completion of the graphic (computer) reconstruction of the
faces of Vasily and Tatiana Pronchishchev. The reconstruction
of the face of Vasily Pronchishchev was carried out by the
author's group under the guidance of Professor V.Zvyagin (Russian
Federal Forensic Centre). The reconstruction of Tatiana Pronchishchev
was carried out by the two independent groups: under the guidance
of Professor V.Zvyagin and A.Khokhlov (Centre of criminalistics
of the Ministry of Internal Affairs).
July 30, 1999 – Press-conference

July 24, 1999 – Return
to Moscow by the airplane of the Far distance Aviation.
July 23, 1999 – Ceremony
of reburial of Vasily and Tatiana Pronchishchev. The Ceremony
was attended by: M.Nikolaev, President of the Sakha Republic
(Yakutiya); D.Shparo, Director of the Adventure Club; M.Oparin,
the Chief of the Far distance aviation; P.Avdeichik, Deputy
Chief of the Navy General Headquarters; Bishop Yakutsky and
Lensky Herman; officials of the Bulunsky ulus, the frontier
guards and etc. Flight from Ust-Olenek to Tiksi on a helicopter
of the Russian Frontier Guards Service.
July 11-22, 1999 – Field
works. Processing of the materials was carried out in the
premises of the polar station "Ust-Olenek".
July 10, 1999 – Flight
from Tiksi to Ust-Olenek on a helicopter. The expedition stayed
at the local postal office.
July 5, 1999 – Flight
of the expedition from Moscow to Tiksi on AH-12 airplane of
the Far distance Aviation, the Russian Military Air Forces.
July 2, 1999 – Press-conference
in Moscow, McDonald's restaurant, dedicated to the beginning
of the expedition.
